STUDIO RULES FOR COVID-19
To protect dancers/parents
- No more than 10 dancers per studio
- Temperature checks upon arrival for staff and dancers and any person entering the building
- Require hand sanitizer upon arrival/enable hand washing throughout the time you are at the studio
- Limit the number of dancers-staff and dancer-dancer interaction in lobby & hallways as much as possible
- Implementing 6-foot distancing and where possible, implement distancing systems & signs stagger arrival & departure times
- Dancers will enter from the front & exit from the back door
- Require use of face masks for all dancers 10 & under and staff (per the governor)
- Require staff & dancers to stay home when showing any symptoms or signs of sickness
- If you have been around anyone who has had Covid-19, please let us know
- Implement curbside pick-up and drop-off only
- Place posters that encourage staying home when sick, cough and sneeze etiquette, and hand hygiene at the entrance of the studio and in other easy to see areas
- Have ample supplies of hand sanitizer/anti-bacterial soap on hand for staff & dancers
Studio cleaning
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces by dancers and staff such as counters, and door handles, workstations, countertops, and doorknobs
- All high-touch areas will be disinfected before & after each class (barres, acrobatic mats, door handles, props, bathroom sinks faucets & stools)
Additional rules on social distancing and customer service
- No contact payments, payments made by credit card on file, phone in payment or drop cash/check in drop box
- All dancers come dressed and ready to dance (please do not wear your dance shoes outside)
- NO one is allowed in the dressing room
- Studio I dancers will leave their street shoes and other belongings in the front office & Studio II dancers will leave theirs in the back hallway
- Staff & dancers who have been in close contact with an exposed or symptomatic person (within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes) should not come to class and should self-quarantine
- Please encourage your dancers to not put their fingers in their mouths or noses and keep their hands to themselves
